Irrigation management with the goal of reducing pooling of water and keeping watering to a minimum. The front hillside was a natural water slew for the hill above. Using a concrete retaining wall we made sure to direct the water's flow away from the house and toward the street's drain. In the backyard, simple brick work matches the backyard's austere design, and an installed drip system keeps watering to the minimum in late spring and summer.
