The hills of San Francisco are great to look at, but murder on the gardener. To prevent excess runoff and soil erosion, we had to shore up many parts of the home’s terrain with a combination of industrially strong and aesthetically pleasing retaining walls. Building to San Francisco’s strict codes, we enforced the walls to withstand the most torrential rains and the strongest earthquakes. French drains and engineering are key here to maintaining healthy water drainage and prevent any water overflow.
